GOLF FOR LIFE 2022
Golf For Life 2022, 7th run of the annual Charity Golf Tournament initiated by Life Community Services Society (LCSS), was held on 30 September at the Orchid Country Club (OCC).
All would not have been made possible without the presence of 144 golf enthusiasts who tee-d off under the clear blue skies, and about 180 guests who supported the evening fundraising dinner.
We are immensely grateful to all supporters, sponsors, donors, and volunteers of Life Community Services Society (LCSS), who contributed to the success of Golf For Life 2022! A big thank you to our Guest-of-Honour, Mr Seah Kian Peng, Member of Parliament for Marine Parade GRC, and Special Guest, ESM Mr Goh Chok Tong, for gracing the event.
With your kind support, we raised $245,100, all of which will go towards helping over 800 children and youths from vulnerable backgrounds, empowering them to be the best that they can be!
Event Highlights
Key event highlights from Golf For Life 2022 include an ukulele performance, performed live by children from our Yishun Life Student Care (LSC) centre, who stole the hearts of the audience, heartfelt sharing by a youth who benefited from mentorship in our MightyKids, Families and Community (MKFC) programme, as well as a prize presentation for the 3 highest-ranked golfers and 61 blessed draw prize winners, among many others!

Why your support matters!
Challenging family situations such as financial challenges, parental incarceration, and neglect can cause tremendous emotional stress and trauma in children. Children experiencing such stressors can in the long run, see their cognitive and emotional development hindered, making it more difficult for them to break out of their circumstances.
Life Community intervenes upstream to close these gaps and empower these children, providing them the encouragement, resources, and platforms to flourish in the next phases of their lives.

Your giving goes a long way:
- $50 will provide a child food rations, emotional and mental support for a month
- $250 will provide a child mentoring, meals, home visits, activities, academic support & weekly group guidance sessions for a month
- $3,000 will provide a child mentoring, meals, home visits, activities, academic support & weekly group guidance sessions for a year

If you would still like to make a donation and support our cause, we are still accepting outright cash donations. The proceeds will be channelled to Life Community Services Society’s programmes, which supports over 800 children, youth, and families from vulnerable backgrounds, including children whose parent/s are presently or formerly incarcerated.
Cash donations received from corporate or individual donors qualify for 2.5 times tax-deduction.
